Rocket Ship, Solo Trip is blasting off at the Air and Space Museum once again, this time with a full crew on board! 🤩 For the first time ever, illustrator Scott Magoon and I will meet to launch Rocket together! We’ll read our book and share the story-behind-the-story, with live art demos and behind-the-scenes peeks at the drafting and designing process. Rocket Ship mission patch stickers for all!

Meet a whole crew of Bay Area authors at the annual Children's Fairyland Book Festival! The historic Oakland theme park will host dozens of children's authors for this full-day event, with their books on hand for signing and activities to engage the youngest of readers. I'll be there with Rocket Ship, Solo Trip, a make-your-own-constellation activity, and of course, all the planets!
